Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By accessing or using Seedstrate ("the Service"), operated by SeedFrontier ("we", "us"), you agree to these Terms.
2. Service description
Seedstrate provides developer-API substrate for AI feedback workflows: classification, online correction, and tamper-evident audit. The Service is in Beta — features may change without notice during this phase.
3. Accounts & access
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and API keys. Do not share sst_live_* keys publicly. Notify us immediately if you suspect compromise.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to: (a) violate law, (b) infringe IP, (c) submit data you don't have rights to, (d) reverse-engineer the substrate, or (e) circumvent rate limits and tier caps via multi-account abuse.
5. Bring-your-own encoder keys
If you provide an OpenAI / Cohere / Voyage API key, your usage of those providers is governed by their separate terms. We act as a passthrough only; you remain responsible for that account's billing and compliance.
6. Pricing & billing
Free tier: 5,000 predictions/month, with overage at $0.003/call. Standard: $0.002/call, billed monthly via Stripe. We may change pricing with 30 days notice.
7. Data & privacy
See our Privacy Policy for how we handle data. Customer inputs are stored in append-only audit logs scoped to your namespace; deletion follows GDPR Art 17 with a 30-day soft-delete grace period.
8. Service Level Agreement (paid tiers, GA)
For paid tiers (Standard, Growth, Scale), at General Availability we commit to:
- Monthly uptime: 99.5% on the substrate API (predict, correct, audit, stats endpoints). Excludes scheduled maintenance announced ≥24h in advance.
- Substrate latency: p95 <100ms on the substrate operations themselves (excludes encoder time, which depends on your provider). p95 <800ms end-to-end with the managed encoder.
- Audit-chain durability: the immutable ledger (predictions + corrections + revocations) is replicated across availability zones with point-in-time recovery to any moment in the past 30 days.
8.1 Service credits
If monthly uptime falls below the target, we credit your account against the next month's bill:
- 99.0%–99.5% uptime → 10% credit
- 95.0%–98.9% → 25% credit
- <95.0% → 50% credit (and a written incident report)
Credits cap at 50% of the affected month's spend. Free tier has no SLA. To claim, email support@seedstrate.ai within 30 days of the affected month.
8.2 Beta status
While Seedstrate is labeled Beta on the homepage, the SLA in §8 applies on a best-effort basis and credits are issued at our discretion. The SLA becomes binding when we remove the Beta label and announce GA.
9. Termination
You may terminate at any time via the dashboard. We may terminate accounts for material breach with reasonable notice, or immediately for abuse/fraud.
10. Disclaimers & liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to fees paid in the prior 12 months.
